1. How did your Cross Country training go?

I went  well because I pasted my self and didn't worry about other people running!

Yes I improved my lap number because because every day when we would do fitness/cross country training and paste my self at different speed on different days!

I showed Connect because When people would past me I would in courage them and give them nice positive comment.

4. Who else did you notice showing one of our school values (they could be from another class or syndicate)? How?

Zoe showed brave because when she finished the race she had a very bad stitch and didn't tear up or anything like that.

During recreation and swimming I decided to spend my time swimming. When we were swimming Zoe and I did the titanic. We had the choice to go on the fast monorail, but I wanted to stay at the pools.Before I went swimming I played so e rugby for my first time. Seeing a basketball in the middle of the outside court was hard to say no. I decided to be a loner and shot some hops by myself. I played basketball for like twenty minutes until I went in the pool.

What was the strategy/knowledge that you were learning?

The strategy/knowledge I used was...knowing groups to 20, 50, 100

How well did you use the strategy/knowledge? Give an example

I used the strategy…well because I...knew how to group tens and hundreds fast.

What challenges/ mistakes helped you with this new strategy/knowledge?

The challenge/mistake I made was when I … I thought that I could just copy the numbers down e.g. 7 hundreds 9 ones and 3 tens = 793 when really the answer was 739
so I had to redo the whole sheet.

This helped me because.. Now I know to read the words not just the numbers and also to
re-read just incase the answer got mixed up.

When using the “I think that means” strategy, what do you have to do?

When using the ITTM you have to convince others, you know what the sentence means and change the sentence into your own words.

Living Springs Camp Reflection

Who did you share a bunk room with?  

I shared a bunk room with Zanda, Liam N, Sam, Jacob, Henry, Ethan and Dayton.

What was your favorite rotation activity? Why?

My favorite activity on camp was the bush walk because I learned different information about 
different birds and trees.

What two school values did you show? How?

1.I showed the value Connect by talking to new people like Dayton and Liam N.

2. I also showed the value Brave by never giving up on the bushwalk.

What was the best part of camp for you?

The best part of camp for me was eating the kawakawa (peppermint tree) leaves and making 
my tongue numb.
