I think I have done good with this goal because I can tell where to put fractions on a number line!

I have shown reflect in this goal because I have forgotten about fractions last year but remembered some and I have reflected on last years work to this years!

My goal for this reading is "Remembering parts of the story"

I have done well with this goal because I didn't have to go back to the journal when I was doing 
my activities!

3. What value have you shown with this piece of work? Why?
   I have shown the value create by using different art strategy's such

as sketching and different angles while using my pencil.

• Check accuracy and the meaning of text whilst reading (ITTM)
• Use prior knowledge and context to confirm author's meaning of words and phrases

When using the “I think that means” strategy, what do you have to do?

In ITTM you will get a sentence given by the teacher "Miss Butler" or "Ms Matthews" and you have to change all the words in that sentence into your owns words!

How would you get a “3”?

You get a three by convincing the audience/teacher by putting the WHOLE sentence into your own words!

What is a roadblock?

A roadblock is a word that you yourself do not know what it means for e.g colony!

Name of your creature: Aldrabra Tortoise!

What part of your sketch did you find the most challenging and why?

I think the most hardest part for me was the actual sketching and shaping my Tortoise's head.

It probably was hard for me because how blunt my pencil was and how hard I was compressing the pencil to the paper.

What part of your final piece do you like the most and why?

I think I liked the head the most because it was the most blended and it really got messy but I liked how it turned out in the end!

I have been brave during this unit when I didn't know much maori when we were naming things on the mat and I named some I didn't know when I was five because when I was five I was in a maori school and in writing you had to write it all in maori.
